“My Grandmother Nancy” compiled by the late Seth P. Holcombe, contains transcripts of letters written to James Huggins Holcomb (1806-1889) by his mother, Nancy Smith (Huggins) Holcomb Mills (1784-1872) over a period of twenty years. The 78 page, hardcover books may be purchased from the Salmon Brook Historical Society, P. O. Box 840, Granby, CT 06035 for $18 postpaid. The Holcomb line of descent for this family is Thomas 1, Nathaniel 2, 3, David 4, Reuben 5, Phineas 6, 7 and James Huggins Holcomb 8. The Huggins line of descent is John 1, James 2 and Nancy Smith Huggins 3.
