This home, built before the Revolutionary War, is a wonderful example of the "3rd period" construction. Wonderful restoration and a newer kitchen make this a very comfortable family home. Because of the narrow staircase only the five first floor rooms are available to view. Tour hosts include the current owners. Directions: Take Rt. 189 (Granville Road) north from Granby Center to Lost Acres Road. Left on Lost Acres Road to #108. Home on right. Lots of parking available.

It is situated on over 2 acres with a new post & beam carriage barn, an original barn and property suitable for having horses or simply enjoying the wonderful rural atmosphere of North Granby . Gardening enthusiasts will be delighted with the attached conservatory/greenhouse and sunny yard which abounds with herbs, fruit trees and colorful perennials. The prosperity of the Godards, owners of a nearby sawmill, is evident in the fine details of the handsome center chimney house. This one is the “Alhambra Model”. Features include the owners beautiful collection of  Stickley furniture and fabulous art work from many "Up State" New York artists.
